This young athlete has substantial social media following
The young golfer will have multiple well-known supporters as she begins her professional golf debut on Thursday.
This teenage golfer, who happens to be related to Donald Trump, was granted a tournament invitation to play at the Annika competition in the Sunshine State.
Her grandfather, an avid golfer, owns multiple golf courses and often competes against Kai.
"He's quite skilled. I can't reveal details but we play some close matches," she revealed.
The golfer shared that her grandfather, unable to come, counseled her: "Simply stay calm."
"My grandpa essentially advised me to play and have fun," she added.
"In my eyes, he's just an ordinary family member. He's not attending for the tournament. He's busy with presidential duties, so he's rather occupied."
As an amateur, the golfer has competed in only three events in 2024 and has the 461st position in AJGA listings.
However she can seek guidance from 15-time major champion, in a relationship with her mother.
"He is the best player in the world," the young golfer said.
"Additionally, he's an even better individual. He suggested me to play, relax, and go with whatever happens."
She'll challenge some of the biggest names in the sport at the Annika, including world number two Nelly Korda, England's Charley Hull, Lexi Thompson and 2023 champion Lilia Vu.
The LPGA stated that her participation helps introduce the sport to wider groups, specifically among youth audiences.
The young star maintains a massive following and just introduced a personal clothing and lifestyle company.
She begins at late afternoon GMT.
